Jan Jan Bureh Nursery School

Jan Jan Bureh Nursery’s mission is to advance the education of pre-school children located in Janjanbureh, The Gambia. This charity provides support by providing access to education by training teachers, paying for salaries including caretakers and cooks, and teaching material for the students. Any money over and above the cost of salaries is spent on equipment to support the learning of the young children which includes reading books, registers, sun canopies, toys, uniforms, underwear, stationery, and meals. Recently, donations were used to build extra classrooms, set up a clothing bank, policy re-supporting children with special needs, toilet block with flush toilets and 2 outdoor sinks for the nursery students.
