We believe in incorporating the SDGs ourselves

Despite the MDGs making great progress in providing universal primary education, decreasing the number of people living in extreme poverty by half, and halting the spread of HIV/Aids, the MDGs failed to address the needs of the world’s poorest.

Countries in Sub Saharan Africa and Southern Asia continued to make less progress achieving the MDGs, because success was measured on a national scale. The MDGs discounted marginalised communities including disabled people indigenous groups, rural communities and women, which led to the goals not being met universally. Unlike the MDGs, the SDGs state that no goal will be met, unless it is met by all. They address the fact that meeting Goal 1 (an end to poverty), relies on the success of meeting several other goals in economic growth, health, social protection, job opportunities and education. Be Global Foundation believe in incorporating the SDGs ourselves, and projecting the importance of them onto the charitable projects and beneficiaries we support. We aim to raise an awareness, and trigger action being made in tackling these universally important issues. Our selected charities mostly focus on health, education, and children, yet each charity individually works towards reaching different SDGs. We believe attention should be brought to the SDGs as they are vital to securing a safer fairer and healthier planet for everyone.

Work with charitable organisations both locally and overseas

The aim of Intouch Global Foundation is to provide tailored guidance and support to smaller, lesser-known charities, where resources can go further. We work with a number of charitable organisations both locally and overseas; most are ongoing partnerships with long-term goals, while some have been one-off grants to facilitate a specific project.
