Calls Over Ridges, Nepal

It works in SDG 4 “Quality Education” with major priority; however, CORN also supports SDG 1 No poverty, SDG 2 Zero Hunger, and SDG 5 Gender Equality as their target is public community schools and its students who belong to the marginalized background. The mission of the organisation is to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and launch a diverse educational program that leads public schools and students to acquire quality education with a vision of creating a zero-illiteracy rate in Nepal.

Within 5 years, CORN has launched more than 20 projects, and through that, has supported more than 6 thousand students and 226 teachers of 31 schools which lie in two districts of Nepal“Dolakha-Jiri municipality and Gorkha-Gorkha municipality”. They have seen their alumni students conducting social activities in the community, working as a master of ceremony, continuing their higher education, participating in learning programs, and so on.

Currently, our 14 long-term projects are going on in the project sites with the support of Calls over Ridges Taiwan; Jiri and Gorkha Municipality; Be Global Foundation, and Schools. To make sure they operate projects with the purpose of achieving the set outcome, CORN has 5 board members and 2 board advisors. They also have 17-star managerial and 57 implementor position team members who are working hard with their hearts on a daily basis to create an impact in the community..
