At Book Aid International we share the power of books and help create a more equal world. Every year we provide over one million brand new books to thousands of communities where people have very few opportunities to read, and we work with our partners to support and establish libraries in schools and other community settings. Each book we send is carefully selected in response to our partners’ requests, and all the books we provide from the UK are donated to us by publishers. We also fund the purchase of thousands of locally published books every year. We receive no government grants or support, so we rely entirely on the generosity of publishers and financial donors to reach readers around the world.
