Asociación ONG Añañau is a nonprofit and non-governmental organization founded in 2014 in Cusco, Peru, that works to empower disadvantaged children and families through sustainable education and development projects. Añañau offers help to children and adolescents between 4 and 18 years old, who live in extreme poverty
and unstable family situations in the districts of San Jeronimo and Huancaro in Cusco. Since January 2015, the organization has been recognised as an official NGO in Peru.

The project of Añañau supports more than 200 disadvantaged children from local Quechua communities in Cusco in the Andes of Peru through empowerment, skills, and training. Since COVID-19 the organisation is especially focussing on guaranteeing the continuation of the after-school support program and providing scholarships for higher education.

The work they do with children and parents is focused on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and with it, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adapted to our local reality and with an impact in the long term.
