This project pools expertise around the creation of conservation gardens in three UK and three Ugandan schools: gardens that support nature as well as food production. In Uganda, this is about sustainable food production as an alternative to activities that endanger wildlife, including gorillas.
In the UK, while support to gorilla conservation remains key to the project identity, it also means food-gardening sensitively, so as to encourage butterflies, bees etc.
